Jim Caviezel banged up After Motorcycle Accident
[info]dazedpuckbunny wrote in [info]ohnotheydidnt

LEAVENWORTH, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol says James Caviezel suffered cuts and bruises when a man hurled a bicycle into the path of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Trooper Rich Magnussen says "The Passion of the Christ" actor was taken Thursday to Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth.

Magnussen says the 40-year-old Caviezel, of Woodland Hills, Calif., was wearing a helmet, and that "it could have been a lot worse." The trooper says he doesn't know why the actor was in the area about 14 miles southeast of this city in north-central Washington.

Caviezel portrayed Jesus in Mel Gibson's movie. He was born in Mount Vernon, Wash.

Magnussen says mental issues may be involved in why the 42-year-old Wenatchee man tossed the bike.

This is why we wear helmets folks! Glad he's okay though.

I miss this actor, I remember when he was the hottest thing out there and then he played Jesus.

'Trek' beams up homevid hologram

Paramount Home Entertainment's "Star Trek" DVD and Blu-ray release is about to again boldly go where no one has gone before -- with a bonus feature on the packaging that opens up an interactive tour of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Expected to be one of the biggest home entertainment releases of the fourth quarter after its $375 million theatrical run, J.J. Abrams' re-imagined "Star Trek" will make its debut Nov. 17 with all the expected extras on the two-disc DVD and three-disc Blu-ray release.

With the packaging feature dubbed "augmented reality," consumers will be able to hold their disc packaging in front of any standard webcam to unlock an interactive hologram on the computer screen, through which they can tour five cabins on the Enterprise, even shooting enemies from the ship's deck.

Users will have to log in to a website to access the feature, but they control the hologram by holding the disc packaging.

"If you took the visual cue in the package and turned your hand, then you're turning the ship," Paramount homevideo senior VP of brand marketing Bob Buchi said.

The technology has been used before for magazine covers and other types of product packaging, though this is a first for a major home entertainment release.

An early version of the feature, which Paramount tried for the international theatrical release of the film, can be accessed at experience-the-enterprise.com.

Paramount will release three different disc versions of "Star Trek" -- a one-disc version with the movie and director commentary, and a bonus-packed two-disc DVD and three-disc Blu-ray. The two-disc DVD and Blu-ray versions will also include a digital copy of the movie.

Among the other extras on the high-end versions are deleted scenes, such as one with a baby Spock, ears and all. Another cut includes an abandoned storyline about the villainous Romulan mining captain, Nero (Eric Bana), and a look at Abrams' version of the warrior Klingons.

On the Blu-ray set is a BD-Live feature that connects viewers to live updates from space through NASA. Those who want to explore the film's space ships more can also click on the Star Fleet Vessel Simulator for a 360-degree view of the Enterprise and other ships.

'Prince of Persia': Exclusive first look at star Jake Gyllenhaal!

For Jake Gyllenhaal, playing Prince Dastan in Jerry Bruckheimer's epic Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, due May 28, 2010, was a chance to get into some serious action. (Paparazzi photos of Gyllenhaal on-set have appeared previously, but this is the first official shot of him in character.) "I'm tired of taking myself so seriously," says the actor, who found himself sword-fighting, climbing walls, and jumping off of buildings as part of the prince's quest to find an enchanted dagger and turn back time. "It's nice when a stuntman turns to you and is like, 'Actors don't normally do this.'"

But the 39-year-old had no such worries as she was joined on the New York set of The Back Up Plan by her one-year-old son and daughter yesterday.

Twins Max and Emme were cared for by Jennifer's mother Guadalupe as the actress filmed her scenes in the romantic comedy.

Merlin/Arthur: Who Does It Better? Round 5
[info]phoenixacid wrote in [info]merlin_tv
The winner of round 4 can be found here.

Rules of the game: I'll post one or more picspam categories every week and pictures that shows our beloved boys (Merlin, Arthur or their rl counterparts) doing something in that category. Your job is to rate their performances on the scale of one to five, one being "FAIL" and five being "WIN". The character with the highest mean for each category gets a title such as, "Prettiest Eyes Of The Week" or "Hunkiest Beefcake Alive".

So are you ready to play?

Round five begins now!

I deserve a fucking break.

Watch this ~unplanned and impromptu paparazzi vid~ (ugh they as SO tiresome, why can't they leave us alone?) for gems such as ONTD mascots for loathsomeness Jon and Hailey "thank god" for being away from the fam and how rocker girls who "have it all" pick Ed Hardy as their choice of clothing brand of choice, respectively.

I wish I could embed this whore. I tried.

Between Kate’s loud red leather jacket and Jon’s newly pierced ears, these reality “stars” are some of the worst style offenders I have seen. I just don’t understand why they keep making headlines for their “style.” As if that’s a positive thing.

We already know all about Kate’s wacky hair, of which she famously said, “Everybody wants it.”

Don’t get me started on that one.

Now it’s Jon’s turn in the “style” spotlight. He just got back from the French Riviera, where he and his new girlfriend partied with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier on his yacht. There was talk that Jon was teaming up with the designer to create and design a kids line, but the Ed Hardy folks have since denied a collaboration is in the works.

Why on earth would Jon even be CONSIDERED to design a line for others when, in my oh-so-humble opinion, he isn’t exactly a fashion plate himself. His backwards baseball caps, ripped jeans and the pierced ears scream mid-life crisis.

He used to dress like a regular guy, like a regular dad, but he’s let fame go to his head… and his wardrobe. Now with all his flashy clothes, he is dressing more like a frat boy than a 32-year-old father of eight. At least his adorable kids still dress age appropriately, like cute, normal kids. Let’s hope they stay that way.

David Heyman Talks Deathly Hallows

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

As one of the producers of the “Harry Potter” films, David Heyman has done the impossible - he made the beloved books work brilliantly as standalone movies. And the most recent - “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” - is getting some of the best reviews yet. In fact, many have called it the best of the series.

Anyway, while “Half-Blood Prince” has just been released, David and the “Potter” team have been hard at work for the past three months on the final film, which is being released as a two-parter in November 2010 and July 2011. Since he was cool to talk about everything, we spent almost thirty minutes discussing all three films.

After the jump you can read about changes from the book to the screen, deleted scenes, the running time for “Deathly Hallows”, will there be a trailer for part two on part one, how long will the final battle be in part two, what else he’s producing, and a lot more! It’s a great interview and a must-read if you’re a “Harry Potter” fan.

Zac Efron is Wet Suit Sexy
[info]j_in_the_mix wrote in [info]ohnotheydidnt

Zac Efron stays warm by squeezing into a neoprene wetsuit during several boat rides on Thursday (July 16) in Vancouver, Canada.

The 21-year-old actor, who wore a pair of Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, is training in preparation for his new movie, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. Spotted on the boat is a little boy who looks like Zac’s mini-me. Same hair-cut!

Zac took safety precautions and wore a buoyancy vest (life jacket). He reportedly took scuba diving lessons but these pictures don’t show any scuba equipment.

A couple more of the same at the SOURCE

I still can't get over how good the new hair looks. I think it helped him pull off the wet suit.

Fangirl POV Picpam: Partners in Crime - Part 5
[info]kyrina wrote in [info]tennant_love
I may not to get to post one of these again for longer than usual. I'm heading to Vegas for the remainder of the summer and between visiting a friend for a few days and then the flight, I'm not sure of my internet situation for a lot of the summer (I should have it but I don't know the details)

So anyway, we start off this section of Partners in Crime with the wonderful and infamous window scene. I have nothing of Donna by herself, which takes away from it in some ways, but I have a theme and I'm sticking to it!
That being said, I feel like there are some fun pictures in this section and I hope other people agree.

( The Doctor and Donna both at once leads to sheer awesomeness! )
